Directions from the South.
From Inverness, take the A9 north. At the Tore roundabout, continue on the A9 north. At the Bridge over the Cromarty Firth, continue north for two miles on the A9 and you will see a group of signs on the left for Evanton B817. Take this road to the left, go under the railway bridge and continue to the village of Evanton. Go past the Co-op, the Black Rock Campsite and over the small bridge. Immediately after this take the next turn to the left signposted Assynt and Glenglass. Keep left, past the football pitch and you will see a single track road. This is Glenglass and we are 0.8 miles from the turnoff - a white cottage on the left-hand side, close to the road. The house is called Assynt Mill. There is parking at the back.
Directions from the North
From the A9 heading south, take the Skiach turnoff onto the B9176. Ignore the turnoff to the Evanton Industrial Estate and take the turn to the left marked Evanton B817. Follow this for 2 miles to the village of Evanton. In the village, at the first left hand bend, take the road uphill to the right marked Assynt and Glenglass. Keep left, past the football pitch and you will see a single track road. This is Glenglass and we are 0.8 miles from the turnoff; a while cottage on the left-hand side, close to the road. The house is called Assynt Mill. There is parking at the back.
Directions from the West
From Dingwall, take the A862, heading east. At the Ardullie roundabout, take the A9 north. You have just passed the Cromarty viaduct and can now use the directions from the South.
